Hi Janice
It was lovely meeting you - the work you do there was an inspiration to us - our thoughts are with you.
Do you have an email address to enable us to keep in touch? (especially about 'one eye')
Kind regards

Good to meet you in March 2008 and we are really impressed with your work on neutering the Menorcan feral cat population. Appreciate your help on sorting out Poppy.

Hi Janice,
I have recently returned from Cala En Porter, I saw a long haired cat there daily, who I assume is a stray his fur was matted and there was an injury to the front leg, which although it did not look serious had been bleeding and may become infected, the cat is quite tame, and lives beneath the trees on the steps leading down to the beach.
Also in Mahon living in a hole in the ground underneath a shoe shop on a corner on the market square, just down from kfc are a feral male and female cat and family of kittens, it would be great if you were able to get these spade and neutered, and kittens rehomed,as they are young enough to be tamed, all are very nervous.
I could not find an email address,so hope you see this message.
Thanks
Tracy

Hi Janice,
I notice that there has been no further blogs since 2008 , I hope your charity is still going. Are stray abandoned cats a problem all over Europe? I was in Cyprus Nov 2008 and many cats live on the beaches there having been dumped by the local human population. I met one of the amazing English residents that take it upon themselves to help these cats. This lady fed 30 of them and unlike most of the people she also took her cats to be fixed and to get medical care when needed. My daughter and I still managed to catch ringworm because despite my Mothers warnings we had indeed patted a number of cats!
I am hoping to help the islands cats by creating a series of preschool stories about two of the cats--one of which had three legs. These two were devoted to each other. If anyone has any interesting stories about cats there own or others it might help set up a story for these two that I can work on. I am also working on a novel for older children which will feature these two cats and some one like my friend Shirley who helps cats. Once writtern I will than have to hope someone will be intested in publishing the stories so I can raise funds to help. The more sucessful it becomes the more I can help at least thats the general idea. My email address is vickieferns@hotmail.com

Best wishes to all the people who do such amazing work which ever island your on.

Dear Janice and cat-lovers

My name is Catherine. We met last summer in menorca when we visited "cats in need" in es Castell. We spent our holidays in Binibeca, Casa Roberta.
I am writing because we would like to ask you if you could bring a feeder for the cats to Casa Roberta, Binibeca. We already talked about it last summer and hope you did not forget us and the cats. ;) We also said that we would like to give you money for the castration. We are not mailing you pictures of these cats, because we heard that there are not all the cats there anymore.
But anyway, it doesnt matter. There are still many cats behind the house in binibeca. We are very happy if you could catch at least 3 or 4 cats and bring them to the veterinary to castrate them. We already paid for 3 cats but if you can catch more we will pay you the others too. we are coming to menorca in December. We informed Redorka that you will bring a feeder.

We thank you very much for your help!

If you have any questions dont hestitate to write an e-mail or call us. We are looking forward to seeing you and the cats in December!

Best regards
Familiy Schuler and Albert from Switzerland

p.s. Please let me know if you ve got that mail, thank you

July 2014 We have had the pleasure to meet Janice a few days ago when she responded to our concerns for a little black cat who needed help, we were on holiday in Punta Prima. the little cat is now at the vets and all is being done to help her.
I can only thank Janice for the selfless work she does and the forty cats that she has at her home.
